NEED HELP?

Are you a senior of low or moderate means who could occasionally use a volunteer to assist you with living independently?

The Weymouth Elder Support Council may be able to help by providing a volunteer.  Some examples of eligible tasks are: moving a piece of furniture, snow shoveling, securing a railing, changing an overhead light bulb, installing air conditioners and other small household tasks.

The Weymouth Elder Support Council, initially named The Weymouth Community Advisory Board, was established in and is comprised of a network of benevolent groups, elder care stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and business owners in the community whose mission is to identify the areas of need for our local seniors and provide support.

Each request will be handled on a case-by-case basis and they will try to match a volunteer to accommodate your needs.
