WEYMOUTH ELDER SUPPORT COUNCIL
The Weymouth Elder Support Council, initially named The Weymouth Community Advisory Board, was established in April 2009 and is comprised of a network of benevolent groups, elder care stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and business owners in the community whose mission is to identify the areas of need for our local seniors and provide support.
The Weymouth Elder Support Council may be able to help by providing a volunteer. Some examples of eligible tasks are: moving a piece of furniture, snow shoveling, securing a railing, changing an overhead light bulb, installing air conditioners and other small household tasks.
We currently meet monthly, on the last Tuesday of each month at the Weymouth Health Care Center.
